Overview

Walk, talk and taste your way through historic Charleston South Carolina. This small-group 2.5-hour tour will immerse you in the history and culture of the Lowcountry and allow you to experience a remarkable culinary scene in downtown Charleston. Stops along the way will include many of the city’s leading restaurants through out the city. Typical tastings include: stone ground grits, Southern pralines, sweet tea, collard greens, Lowcountry barbeque, and fried green tomatoes.

Built in the early 1800's, this four block historical landmark was originally the city's grocery store. Today, the City Market is home to a variety of local vendors that sell their art, crafts, and local wares.

Fran was our tour guide and we really enjoyed the history she shared along the way. The food was really good especially Poogan’s Smokehouse. Would have liked more seafood included but would highly recommend to anyone visiting Charleston!

Fran was our tour guide and she was very informative and positive. There could have been better choices of restaurants- expecting she crab soup and there was none as well as no alcohol included like on prior tours charging the same price. A roof top restaurant would have been a very nice inclusion.

a great way to sample some of the flavors Charleston is know for. Taylor was our guide and did a fantastic job. I recommend the mid day tour and it will be your lunch. you will leave fully satisfied.
