This tour was wonderful, and a great intro to the city! My husband and I were the only ones who had booked this tour for Tuesday morning last week, so our guide Sarah was able to give us her full attention. What a treat! So many delicious foods to try, I can't remember them all, but I'll give it a shot. We first went to Another Broken Egg and had City Grits (my absolute favorite dish on the tour) and fried green tomatoes. Next was Oyster House for hush puppies, awesome she crab soup, and more fried green tomatoes. Then for a bit of a breather, we went to the Spice & Tea Exchange, where we smelled many different spice combinations and teas, and sampled various hors d'oeuvres & dips. Next up was Poogan's Smokehouse where we had delicious pulled pork sliders (and something else I was too full to remember). Our final shop was a sweet shop where we sampled several candies and were given a pecan praline to take with us. Sarah gave us some great history lessons along the way, and was a thoroughly delightful companion. Thank you, Sarah! One final note . . . we went back to Another Broken Egg for lunch one day, and for breakfast on our final day. ALL was delicious!

So good to hear! Sarah is a great tour guide indeed. She has been giving that tour for a long time and is quite knowledgeable about Charleston's culinary past. Thank you for recognizing her here. We also appreciate the wonderful review of our partners. We couldn't do it without them. So glad you went back to Another Broken Egg. They are great. Again, thank you! Theresa Stratford Bulldog Tours
