Wow, what a treat. Fran Bennet was our guide and we had a great time learning about the history of Charleston and tasting the wonderful various flavors. She helped us understand where the food came from (ethnic source) and how it developed in Charleston. I certainly recommend this tour.

Faith was the best tour guide we have ever been with. Her voice carried well enough for everyone to hear her. Plus she took great care of every detail along the way. Our food was incredible!

This was an excellent tour. We booked online and when we arrived, were pleasantly greeted. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes especially when it becomes summer. Our tour guide, Faith was fabulous. She was very personable, and you felt comfortable asking questions and talking with her. She was very knowledgeable of the history of Charleston and the food of the area. Note: you might not go to the same places if you do this tour twice. Faith explained they go to various places so the businesses might change. We ended up going back to a few of the places we visited during the tour. We will do this tour or one of their other ones again. We were told if we book multiple tours with them, there are discounts, but you need to call them to get the discounts. There is parking right there where the tour begins which is next to the market.
