What To Expect
1
Blue Ridge Parkway
As we drive along the parkway, you'll notice spots on the road where you can pull your vehicle to the side. These overlooks are designed to spotlight the mountains' most scenic vistas. There are over 200 of them along the whole Blue Ridge Parkway! Each one features a large wooden sign that lists the name of the mountain or ridge you're looking at, and your current elevation. It's nice to give a little personal touch to the otherwise anonymous and similar-looking mountains that you drive through. NOTE: This 550+ mile-long tour covers the essentials of Blue Ridge Parkway in 5+ hours. Buy once, use for one year! Ideal for extended visits and return trips over the next 12 months.
2
Waterrock Knob
This is Blue Ridge Parkway's tallest visitor's center! Located at 5,820 feet in elevation, this location is known for its stunning long-range views of several major Appalachian mountain chains.
3
Cherokee Rose
From the Trail of Tears emerged the legend of the Cherokee Rose. The flower, in full bloom, features a cluster of snow-white petals surrounding a yellow center. In the story, each petal represents a band of the Cherokee nation, and in the center lies the gold for which their nation was torn apart. In order to access that gold, the white settlers had torn off all the petals.

After spending 2 wonderful night glamping we were excited about our self guided audio tour starting in Asheville. The audio started and we heard 3 points of interest. We reached out twice by phone for help. The audio cut out constantly. Keep getting message GPS not connecting/unavailable. Would not recommend.

Hi Rebecca, the initial setup must be completed beforehand as it requires internet/Wi-Fi. Once downloaded, our app works entirely offline. It sounds like you may have been driving too fast, which caused the audio to cut out after only hearing three stops. The rest of your review is a bit unclear, so please email us ASAP so our team can look into it.

We're sorry to hear you had a bad experience! We don't send folks off in the wrong direction, and there are three different versions of the Blue Ridge audio tour depending on which way you want to travel (Cherokee to Asheville, Asheville to Roanoke, or Roanoke to Afton). Our support team is also available from 5 am to 5 pm EST to help with any hiccups. Email us ASAP, and we'll gladly get you a refund or help you get started on the right track!

Priyanka, it sounds like you couldn't download the app! There's no uploading involved with our app; download the app itself and the tour before you head out. The app also has a short tutorial to help you get everything set up. Our friendly support team is available between 5 am and 5 pm EST if you'd like them to walk you through it, or if you prefer, we can get you a refund. The good news is your access lasts a whole year, so you have plenty of time to enjoy the scenic parkway with our guide! Just reach out if you need a hand.
