Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview

Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

This was such a fun experience! My wife and I had basic horse-riding experience prior to this excursion which helped a bit. The guide, Tomás, was fantastic; he gave us a nice amount of freedom while riding which made the experience so much fun.

The wranglers were informative yet laid back. I never felt suffocated on the trip and it’s the first time I’ve done a horseback riding adventure in which i did not get scolded. We also saw lots of other animals being that the location is a sanctuary for many other animals. The pig was really sweet and posed for photos!!
