Seattle Chocolate Tour

Overview
Is chocolate a food or a technology? Why does it hold such a special place in cultures around the world? Most importantly: How do YOU like your chocolate?

On this tour you'll need all your senses to help answer these questions, and there's no better place to explore the world of chocolate than the city famous for beans that give you a buzz.

This 2.5 hour walking tour will fill you to the brim with chocolatey goodness. Dark. Milk. Drinking. Solid. Spicy. Bitter. Sweet. With nuts. With fruits. And the purest of the pure. You will leave with a deeper understanding of the attention that goes into each decadent bite you take.

Included in your ticket price is 12 individual tastes of chocolate (keep breakfast light). We will visit 8 of Downtown Seattle's most beloved food stops so that there is a little something for everyone!

We work hard to make this tour accessible to everyone, so let us know ahead of time about any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or mobility concerns.

Really enjoyed being introduced to Confectional in Pike Place Market. Their sipping chocolate drinks were excellent. Our guide, Will, was very knowledgeable and attentive to everyone in our group.

We were a small group of 3 but that did not dampen our guide Willā€™s enthusiasm. We started off with a taste of chocolate ice cream, moved onto baked goods, chocolate drink, then a savory treat, and finally straight up chocolate. All the while we walked, talked, listened, and learned about chocolate, history, global trade, natural resources, and each other. Will was lively and kept us energized. Wear walking shoes and dress for the weather. There will be places to sit and restroom breaks, but be prepared to walk up and down because the streets in the area can have a steep pitch. By the end of the tour, I had indulged just enough to satisfy my chocolate jones without reaching the too-much stage. Highly recommend.
