Seattle Harbor Cruise

Overview
Get acquainted with Seattle's historic waterfront from the water side of the wharf on this fully narrated cruise of Elliott Bay and Seattle Harbor. This cruise follows the shoreline and provides up-close views of the piers, ports and area attractions. There are plenty of interesting features around the bay: the Port of Seattle (one of the busiest ports in the United States), Colman Dock (the main dock of the largest ferry system in the US), and Pier 90 (home of the region's cruise ship business), Alki Beach (major local summertime hangout), the Space Needle, the famous Hotel Edgewater, the Great Wheel and the Seattle Aquarium. Last but not least, enjoy tremendous views of the natural beauty that surrounds Seattle. The majestic Olympic Mountains lie to the west, solitary Mount Rainier to the southeast, and the inviting Cascade Range to the east.

We did this at the end of our last day in Seattle. Great activity when you are tired of walking and it is a clear beautiful day. We sat up top and really enjoyed seeing the city and Mt Rainier from a different angle as well as just being out on the water. Saw a number of sea lions jousting for position on the buoys which was cool. The guide was very enthusiastic and informative, did an excellent job. Would recommend this.

Visiting Seattle? New to Seattle? Lived here a long time, but want to see Seattle from a different perspective and learn new things... take an Argosy Cruise! Many to choose from Locks Cruise, Tillicum Excursion. I took the 1 hour Harbor Cruise. Our narrator guide was Roniq was an absolute delight! She was personable and fun and shared so much knowledge about Seattle waterfront, Elliot Bay and Puget Sound. We saw the entire Olympic Mountain range to the west, and majestic Mount Rainer to the south. We saw many sea lions and gulls and Roniq pointed out an eagle and an osprey. I sat up on the open top deck, as did many of the passengers. There is also a main deck below with seats, restrooms, and a full bar serving cold beer, hot chocolate and specialty drinks. I recommend the Mariner Margarita. Thank you Roniq, thank you Argosy for an awesome day! My favorites were seeing Mount Rainier, the cranes that load cargo ships and the Osprey. Oh yeah... and the best popcorn ever!
