We were really looking forward to the Harbour cruise after reading some of the reviews, but left disappointed.
We booked online directly and so on arrival it was clearly explained where we needed to wait.
We boarded on time, and avoided having our photo taken as we had no intention of buying one at the end.
Unbeknown to us, and many others, we sat on the wrong side of the boat. All of the commentary, and sights, are on one side, which we couldn’t see. It wasn’t acknowledged that we couldn’t, no one came to our side of the boat at all.
The girl doing the commentary seemed pleasant but did not know her facts, there was no humour and it was all rather awkward. So many ummms and ‘way back when’ - I felt a bit sorry for her. She was obviously new and unsure of herself/her role. She should have had more support.
The captain seemed nice, eating his lunch along the way and seemed engaging when he spoke which made the girl doing the commentary seem even worse.
We wouldn’t do this cruise again although if we did then we would know where to sit to actually enjoy it.
It was nice to be out in the harbour, and we did get some nice views of the skyline at points.
