Overview

Get acquainted with Seattle's historic waterfront from the water side of the wharf on this fully narrated cruise of Elliott Bay and Seattle Harbor. This cruise follows the shoreline and provides up-close views of the piers, ports and area attractions. There are plenty of interesting features around the bay: the Port of Seattle (one of the busiest ports in the United States), Colman Dock (the main dock of the largest ferry system in the US), and Pier 90 (home of the region's cruise ship business), Alki Beach (major local summertime hangout), the Space Needle, the famous Hotel Edgewater, the Great Wheel and the Seattle Aquarium. Last but not least, enjoy tremendous views of the natural beauty that surrounds Seattle. The majestic Olympic Mountains lie to the west, solitary Mount Rainier to the southeast, and the inviting Cascade Range to the east.

I took the one hour harbor cruise which was part of the city pass in the afternoon and it was a wonderful one hour ride. Spencer who gave the tour was excellent, and even though it was hazy because of the fires the skyline of Seattle was beautiful. It was very relaxing and informative.

The starboard (right) side of the boat passes by the city view - best side for getting pics, etc.. Recommend for learning about the city you're exploring. Had amazingly beautiful weather - makes a big difference. Wish we'd purchased the Seattle City Go card because the Argosy is included and we ending up doing a lot of the other things too. Sometimes these card aren't a great value, but in the case of Seattle it is.

1). Needs to have more outside seating. Who wants to sit in the hot cabin???? 2). Stop begging for tips at the conclusion—-the more you beg, the less likely we are to tip 3). The guide was informative and fun
