Seattle Harbor Cruise

Overview
Get acquainted with Seattle's historic waterfront from the water side of the wharf on this fully narrated cruise of Elliott Bay and Seattle Harbor. This cruise follows the shoreline and provides up-close views of the piers, ports and area attractions. There are plenty of interesting features around the bay: the Port of Seattle (one of the busiest ports in the United States), Colman Dock (the main dock of the largest ferry system in the US), and Pier 90 (home of the region's cruise ship business), Alki Beach (major local summertime hangout), the Space Needle, the famous Hotel Edgewater, the Great Wheel and the Seattle Aquarium. Last but not least, enjoy tremendous views of the natural beauty that surrounds Seattle. The majestic Olympic Mountains lie to the west, solitary Mount Rainier to the southeast, and the inviting Cascade Range to the east.

My parents were visiting from NY and I wanted to show them around Seattle. We lucked out with such a beautiful day. The sky was partly cloudy and winds were calm. We saw cruise ships, piers, beautiful skyline views, an unobstructed Space Needle view, shipping vessels, incredible views of Mt. Rainier, and more! Even if the weather isn’t 100% I’d still recommend this harbor cruise.

I wish we had come here first instead of nearly last on our trip to Seattle. We learned a lot about the city and things to do that we didn't have time for since it was the end of our trip. We used the city pass and came during the week when it was far less crowded.

My husband and I did this tour on May 24. It is about an hour and really worth it. We did the CityPass and hadn't originally planned to this but I'm glad we did. We lucked out with great weather. Had it been rainy I don't think it would have been fun. It takes you from the dock to just passed Queen Anne and around. The Seattle skyline was cool from the water. It wasn't overly crowded. We got good pictures and I think they let just the right amount of people on the tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining.
