Seattle Harbor Cruise

Overview
Get acquainted with Seattle's historic waterfront from the water side of the wharf on this fully narrated cruise of Elliott Bay and Seattle Harbor. This cruise follows the shoreline and provides up-close views of the piers, ports and area attractions. There are plenty of interesting features around the bay: the Port of Seattle (one of the busiest ports in the United States), Colman Dock (the main dock of the largest ferry system in the US), and Pier 90 (home of the region's cruise ship business), Alki Beach (major local summertime hangout), the Space Needle, the famous Hotel Edgewater, the Great Wheel and the Seattle Aquarium. Last but not least, enjoy tremendous views of the natural beauty that surrounds Seattle. The majestic Olympic Mountains lie to the west, solitary Mount Rainier to the southeast, and the inviting Cascade Range to the east.

We decided to do the extended tour which was the harbor cruise. We got to see so much cool stuff! We saw the ballard locks, freemont, and many of the sites of Seattle we would not have been able to cover in a short amount of time on foot. Our tour guides were funny and knowledgeable. The weather in Seattle was cold and drizzly, but we were warm in the inside of the boat and still had a great view of all the sites. The coolest part of the tour was the locks!

Thanks for sharing your experience! We are happy you covered a lot of "ground" on our cruise and learned about the city along the way.

What better way to see the City of Seattle than from the water! It was a wonderful way to learn more about the City and Harbor. The tour guide was very informative and interesting; she relayed a lot of facts and stories about the area. We cruised close to the Port of Seattle and watched a crane load a container ship - they are much bigger up close! Our boat had an upper, outside deck and an enclosed lower deck with a snack/beverage area. The cruise was a wonderful way to enjoy the evening and get an introduction to the beautiful City and Port of Seattle. Definitely worth the time and ticket price!

Thanks for your feedback and for joining us on the Harbor Cruise! Catching the sunset over the Olympics is definitely the cherry on top, and we're glad you got to enjoy it.

Absolutely recommend this experience...a 1-hour narrated harbor tour by boat (Argosy) absolutely loaded with information on historic, commercial (sea port and ship-building), environmental (islands, sea life), skyline, and interesting (if not amazing) facts about the city and area (history, uniqueness) . Your visual experience is significantly enhanced by the informative, entertaining, and witty offerings of a tour guide who obviously enjoys his work. This tour also offers drinks and snacks on board and was definitively the highlight of our visit to Seattle...a fantastic city.
