Seattle Harbor Cruise

Overview
Get acquainted with Seattle's historic waterfront from the water side of the wharf on this fully narrated cruise of Elliott Bay and Seattle Harbor. This cruise follows the shoreline and provides up-close views of the piers, ports and area attractions. There are plenty of interesting features around the bay: the Port of Seattle (one of the busiest ports in the United States), Colman Dock (the main dock of the largest ferry system in the US), and Pier 90 (home of the region's cruise ship business), Alki Beach (major local summertime hangout), the Space Needle, the famous Hotel Edgewater, the Great Wheel and the Seattle Aquarium. Last but not least, enjoy tremendous views of the natural beauty that surrounds Seattle. The majestic Olympic Mountains lie to the west, solitary Mount Rainier to the southeast, and the inviting Cascade Range to the east.

This is a great activity if you are visiting Seattle for the first time and want to learn about the city and it's history. I would also suggest taking one of the underground tours in pioneer square (unrelated to the Argosy tours), as they are also very informative. This particular harbor cruise takes about an hour and you get some great views of the city while learning a lot of interesting history.

The cruise was very relaxing and a lovely way to spend the morning. It wasn't too hot or cold, so that helped. It was so nice just cruising past the views of Seattle. The narrator was ok - he thought he was funnier than he actually was though, which spoilt it a bit for me. Plus he kept then mentioning us giving him tips. Not nice at all. We bought the city pass so it was included as part of that.

We got the citypass for Seattle and it was the best thing we could have gotten. This was something that we probably would not have done but since we got the pass we went for it and were very glad we did. We got to see the city from a different point of view of the city and learned some fun facts. We really enjoyed it.

Thanks, TripleTExplore! We totally agree the cruise is a fun way to see the city from a new perspective, and we're glad you used the CityPASS to join us on the Harbor.
