My husband and I have lived in Seattle for 8 years and we absolutely love local tours like this to learn about the history of the city we love so much. This one was very informative in regard to the darker side of Seattle. A lot of stuff you’re not surprised about in regard to Seattle naturally attracting the seedier side of people and seems to still do so to a degree. We also lived in Belltown, a quick 10 minute walk from the Market for 6 years and had NO idea all of these places were so close. We also visit the Market Theater often and will definitely look for those seats that are always left “vacant” Now I’m going to look extra hard to see if I see any of the spoken of spirits when I go back to the old neighborhood.

First of all our guide, Rob was just terrific! He was welcoming and made everybody feel comfortable. Most importantly he is an engaging storyteller they kept the tour flowing from the very beginning. It was the perfect thing to do with my teens 8 at night, followed immediately by hot chocolate from Shug’s Ice Cream down the street.
