North Shore
North Shore is a large stretch of sand and beach. The name North Shore is spoken in the same sentence as surfing. To get there? Drive thru Wahiawa. The scattering pineapple fields, coffee orchards, red volcanic dirt and as you drive on to take in the sky as it opens up into the Pacific Ocean. The ocean awaits you with the suggestion of sea mist from pounding waves.

Nu’uanu Pali
The Pali Lookout is a site of deep historical significance. Named “Pali” meaning "cliff" in Hawaiian, the Pali Lookout is the site of the Battle of Nuuanu, where in 1795 King Kamehameha I won the struggle that finally united Oahu under his rule. This fierce battle claimed hundreds of soldiers’ lives, many of which were forced off of the Pali’s sheer cliffs. Note that the Pali Lookout is also known for its strong and howling winds. You’ll understand why the Nuuanu Pali Lookout is one of Oahu’s best scenic points when you feel the wind push up against you, hear the winds whistle through the mountains and see the breathtaking views of Oahu’s lush Windward Coast.

This was one of the best tours we have ever taken. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Took us to spots “off the beaten path” (i.e. no tour buses) and shared his local favorites. We would recommend everyone visiting Oahu to check them out.

Our tour guide was Cameron, such an excellent day out. He made it fun, full of knowledge about the island. We saw many hidden gems that we would not have seen otherwise. Great day out, recommend the tour to everyone.

Aloha Cinzi, Mahalo for the kind words about our guide Cameron who always brings enthusiasm and a local perspective on all his tours. We're happy to hear you got to see some of the hidden gems we have on our tours which we only share in person and never on the web ! This is a perfect example of how we take folks off the beaten path, so it's always best toleave the planning to us!

This tour is a must do!! My husband and I did the circle island tour with Lanai Tabura and we were able to see about 80% of the island. We would have never driven to all these sites or even knew about these sites if it wasn't for Lanai and this tour. Lanai was super friendly and easy to talk to. He gave us amazing history about the island and about each site we stopped at, it was very informative and a lot of fun. We also stopped at some local food trucks, fruit stands, and even a doughnut stand that we never would have done if it wasn't for Lanai. If you are hesitant about doing this tour, don't even think twice and just book it. You will not regret it, its worth every penny spent and you will see some amazing sites! Aloha!

What's great about our tours is that they are all go at your own pace, customized and very flexible! So as you experienced, if there's something on clients bucket list they'd like to do, we'll try our best to accomodate.
