What To Expect
1
Waimanalo Beach
Waimanalo Bay Beach Park & Recreation Area is one place rarely visited by tourists, that has one of the Oahu Beaches that will leave you in awe of the fact that you had no idea it existed in Oahu.
2
Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve
ormed within a volcanic cone, today Hanauma Bay offers a pristine marine ecosystem after the City and County of Honolulu laid out a plan in 1990 to restore the “curved bay,” after years of use from the millions of visitors who visit and love to snorkel Hanauma Bay. Voted the Best Beach in the United States for 2016 our volunteers have a booth located on the beach level to help visitors learn about conservation of the reef and the types of fish that live there.
3
Halona Blowhole
The Hālona Blowhole is one of Hawai‘i’s natural wonders, created thousands of years ago when molten lava tubes were formed from volcanic eruptions. There aren’t any active volcanoes on O‘ahu anymore, but the blowhole remains a must-see scenic stop.
4
Lanai lookout
Lanai Lookout is located on Oahu's southeast shore right on Kalanianaole Highway. It is one of three main roadside lookout points on this scenic stretch of coastline
5
Makapu'u Heiau
On the eastern most point of Oahu sits the Makapuu Point Lighthouse, a shining beacon built in 1909 on a 600-foot sea cliff overlooking Makapuu Beach—a stretch of sand known as one of Oahu’s best bodysurfing beaches—and family-friendly Sea Life Park.

Whatever you do don’t do the bog standard advertised options - take this one as it was fantastic! Travis - brilliant local guide - comes and picks you up and then shows you all you need to see and know about the island, top beaches, do’s and donts of surfing to avoid losing your swim wear, top places to eat, secret beaches and how to avoid being stung by man of war jelly fish and picking the right places to swim/surf, beautiful mountain lookouts and all about local culture and history. Seriously if you don’t take his trip you have mega bog one missed out and messed up! You do all Of the above and stop off at prime lookout sites to get the beauty of the coastline and mountains. An absolute must!!! Loved it!!

We have been to Oahu many times before, so we were very pleasantly surprised with all of the new places that our guide, Matt, brought us to! He was a wealth of information and was a very fun guide at the same time. He brought us to try local portugese donuts, and also for lunch at the marina where all the fresh catches are brought in and sold. He also took lots of candid photos for us, and showed us some stunning idyllic views that I had never visited before. I would definitely book with Matt again on our next visit to the island!

This was a highlight of our trip and worth every penny! Matt was an absolute awesome guide and it was so relaxing and fun to spend the time getting to see and learn about the island. I would totally recommend this, especially for anyone who’s on their first trip to the island!
