I took this tour yesterday with another New Yorker, and we both saw things we had never seen or even heard much about: secret forts, arches and historic places from the days of George Washington and even before that. Our tour guide Bruce was really knowledgeable and told us the story of the beginnings of Central Park down to the present day and the current plans for the park in the future. A wonderfully guided tour through the beautiful gardens over by Fifth Avenue was included in this 2 and 1/2 hour walking tour. Definitely a must see for anyone visiting New York and NewYorkers too!

Another wonderful tour with guide Bruce Racond. This time the tour was the Secret Places of Central Park Walking Tour. The North Woods, the “Adirondacks”, a pond, a loch, waterfalls, fortresses from the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812, formal gardens, the secret garden all mixed with some of the whys and hows it all came about. What a wonderful almost three hours. Bruce is a wonderful guide. He is knowledgeable, engaging and pays attention to the needs of his group. I recommend it highly!

Tour Guide Bruce Racond provided me with an AMAZING experience, yesterday. I am a very active 74-year old, native New Yorker, who spends lots of time in Central Park; and who has spent a lifetime studying NYC history. However, thanks to Bruce's "Secret Places in Central Park Tour," and his historical knowledge, yesterday I saw and experienced many places in Central Park I did not even know exist; and I learned so much more about Central Park, its history, and the history of NYC. Additionally, I greatly appreciate Bruce's enthusiasm and genuine love for what he does; and how well he interacts with, and care for his tour guests. I look forward to also taking his "Hamilton & Washington: Secrets of the Past Tour."

Thank you so much for your review and recommendation. I'm always glad to hear that people who know so much about New York City, find many things they didn't know about on the tours. I can't wait to see you again on the "Hamilton & Washington in New York" tour. Bruce
