Head north with a stop at Montezuma Castle National Monument. Next, the Red Rocks of Sedona! There will be time for lots of pictures as well as browsing among the many interesting galleries and shops in Uptown Sedona. Visit Jerome, a turn-of-the-century mining town. Admissions are included in pricing. We depart from most hotels in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. Also, from the Mesa Hilton Hotel in Mesa.

What To Expect

Montezuma Castle National Monument

Walk along the path viewing this pre-Colombian Sinagua Native American cliff dwelling, built and used between 1100 and 1425 AD. This dwelling had between 45 and 60 rooms.

Jerome

Visit the former copper mining camp town of Jerome. Founded in 1876 on Cleopatra Hill, became a ghost town after the Phelps Dodge Mine closed in 1953. There is time here to walk around, shop and take pictures.

Sedona

Experience the Red Rocks of Sedona! There will be time for lots of picture taking and lunch, as well as browsing among the many interesting galleries and shops in Uptown Sedona.

We were picked up at our hotel by John our driver/guide. The tour was wonderful. The sights were awesome. John was very knowledgeable of the area and of the plants and animals inhabiting it. This tour was a great way to see the area at a very reasonable cost.

The Sedona portion of the tour including the Red Rocks and Montezuma's Castle were nice but Jerome was not enjoyable.
