Escape the crowds and snap stunning photos on an unforgettable Photo Trek! Head off the beaten track today to see the coastal sights of Juneau on a unique type of personal scooter - a Segway. You'll hit the road and the beach on this fun, 3 hour tour.

As you set out, you will immediately encounter views of the majestic Mendenhall Glacier. Cruise the coastline and make several stops for photos while you take in the pristine waters of Lynn Canal, part of the Inside Passage.

Because you are on a Segway, you will have the opportunity to intimately interact with nature. Listen for eagle calls in flight, the waves lapping the shoreline, and maybe even spy the occasional breaching humpback whale.

Then hop off your Segway and walk a short 7 minute trail to a secluded beach to enjoy locally sourced refreshments. Immerse yourself in the Tongass National Forest, a temperate rain forest and the largest National Forest in the US.

It was a true rain forest experience. Rode Segways in a deluge. But it was fun and exhilarating. Met great people from CA and MD. The Segway ride made me feel like a kid again. Best part of the adventure was the hike through the actual rain forest. We were lucky enough to have the owners (Reuben and Erin) as our guides. Learned a lot of science and history. When we emerged from the forest, the rain stopped for us. Watched eagles hunt for salmon and looked a beautiful scenery. I'm a local from Juneau and managed to learn more about the beautiful place I live in.

What a fun activity, suitable for all family members. Our guide Phenton was amazing, very easy going, patient and knowledgeable; it is obvious that he loves his heritage and his home state of Alaska. I enjoyed listening to his stories of growing up in a small Alaskan village. We learned a lot about the Alaskan Rain Forrest, it circle of life, and how to identify edible foods. If you have a question ask it! These guides are more than willing to share their knowledge. The scenery is breath taking, did not forget you camera!
