What To Expect

Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier

The tour will pass the rebuilt Pleasure Pier, which was once the home of the Flagship Hotel.

1892 Bishop's Palace

There will be opportunities for taking photographs and videos along the tour with special attention given to The Bishops Palace, The Sacred Heart Cathedral, and the Sealy and Moody Mansions.

Moody Mansion

There will be opportunities for taking photographs and videos along the tour with special attention given to The Bishops Palace, The Sacred Heart Cathedral, and the Sealy and Moody Mansions.

Galveston Railroad Museum

You will pass the Railroad Museum used during prohibition, which was the most infamous era in Galveston’s history.

The Seawall

The tour will end at the sea where you can mingle with the surfers on the Seawall.

The Magical Tour was great for getting oriented to Galveston as this was our first time visiting. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave helpful advice for the rest of our stay. This was our first time riding the Segway as well, but had no trouble after the training (neither did anyone else in our party).

We did this tour and could not have been more impressed. The knowledge of our guide both on the history of Galveston and the route was amazing We enjoyed every aspect of this tour and felt relaxed throughout. If you want to see Galveston in a relaxing way with both history and what to do and where to eat I highly suggest this Segway tour. See you again next time we are in Galveston.

OK, first thing’s first, the Segway is a thoroughly ridiculous form of transport! 🤣 It is however a lot of fun although it does take a few minutes getting used to it trying to balance you while you’re trying to balance it. Once your brain has figured it out, they’re pretty easy to get around on, as I say it only takes a few minutes and the guide will help you get acclimated to the thing. The tour was wonderful. Knowledgeable guide around this seaside town which has so much history. Would heartily recommend, especially if you’ve never been on a Segway before!
