This rates as one of the most exciting/fun things I have ever done with my family!! Our Hualapai boat guides were awesome, and took us to some very special places, sharing with us many stories from their tribal history. Warning: you will get soaked to the bone over and over again ... it was so fun and exhilarating. You cannot say you have seen the Grand Canyon until you have done this. I hope do it again someday.

They fail to mention the 1 hr ponding dusty ride from your car drop to the river. They fail to mention that the water temperature is 42 degrees F in the spring and you will get hypothermia if you don't wear good rain gear. They fail to mention that after the helicopter drop you have a 2 hr 45 min ride back to your car. They fail to mention that some of the guides believe they are U-Boat commanders.
