What To Expect

Reynolds Square

We will visit old Reynolds Square and here the stories of the Olde Pink House and the victims that died of Malaria in the square. it's can be a bit historical and a bit spooky.

Owens-thomas House & Slave Quarters

We will stop outside the Owens Thomas House and hear the story of the house and the slave quarters. The house is also a museum that you can visit but that is not included in the tour. If you are interested pause the tour and and visit. Just press play to continue.

Davenport House Museum

We will stop outside the Davenport house and hear it's story. And after that we will head into the Colombia square and see the old historic fountain.

Wright Square

We will stop in Wrights square and hear the story of Tomochichi the chief that helped establish the city of Savannah. We will learn about is grave and the statue that now stands in the middle of the square.

Telfair Academy

Your tour will go to Telfair Square and stop at the entrance of the Telfair Museum. it's the oldest art museum in the South. You'll hear the story of how it was was established and the 5 statues that sit out front.

Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace Museum

We will stop by the outside of the birthplace of Juliette Gordon Low, or as you may know here The Founder of the Girl Scouts!

Couldn’t get code and app to work together. Never used the app for intended purpose. Code provided by Viator would not work.

Hi! The code is in step 3 of your booking ticket, and I also texted it to you :). It started with "so........." So sorry you did not see this. The code is not the viator booking number. it's the code in the ticket, it's from us at Walkntours :). The Good news is the tour never expires and you can take it anytime, so please feel free to use the code and unlock the tour and take it anytime.

We loved all the historical homes. We enjoyed the information about the squares. This was a ver easy and informative tour.

We found the interface not user friendly and abandoned it at the second square. The next location recording would start before the first location had finished.

When taking tours on the WalknTours app you need to allow location permission for our tour to tell the story on location. You did not allow for location permission. That's why you had the issue. To offer a GPS location aware experience, we need to know your location :). I hope next time you take a tour, you'll allow it, then it will work :) Thanks!
