What To Expect

Ropes Mansion and Garden

We will start in the front and hear the story of the old ghost owner then walk around to the garden and hear the story of the ghost that burned in the mansion and haunts it until today.

Witch House

We will stop infront of the Salem Witch house and tell the story of the old owners and the ghosts inside.

Bewitched Statue of Elizabeth Montgomery

We will stop at the Bewitched statue and hear the story and connection of the TV show Bewitched and Salem.

Salem Old Town Hall

We will walk past Wicked Books, the Old Town hall and hear the stories of the underground tunnels and the ghosts

Old Burying Point Cemetery

we will stop by the cemetery and hear about it's ghosts

Salem Witch Trials Memorial

We will see the Salem witch trial memorial and hear about the ghosts that lurk near by.

We really enjoyed this walking tour- it was very nicely paced and allowed you to walk at a comfortable speed (even considering the crowds) or pause if you wanted to linger. We also appreciated the history lesson and background provided at each stop- some were pretty creepy! I would definitely recommend using ear buds so that you can hear. I personally liked this better than a guided tour because you could move at your own pace, and hear everything very clearly (unlike some guided tours where the guide doesn’t talk loud enough) Overall- I would highly recommend this tour

Excellent tips to use earbuds, Salem is crowded and loud in October (as you know) and earbuds improve the experience. Thank you for taking our tour!!! I couldn’t even use it. Such a long drive, such a perfect day for a self guided tour and I couldn’t even use it. I downloaded the tour and every time I pressed “start experience” my phone froze. I called the number they have in case we need costumer support and they couldn’t help either. We were really sad.
