Overview

This door-to door, semi-private, modified "hop-on, hop-off" wine tasting tour service allows you to create your own itinerary in the Paso Robles Wine Country. The approximately 5+hour service picks you up, shuttles you to the winery appointments scheduled on your behalf and returns you at the end of the day. The à la carte fare offers choices from over 90 wineries in the region from which you can request for your day but does not include lunch (can be added) or tasting fees (can also be added for specific wineries). Once you’ve picked your fare, and 4 wineries you’d like to request for your day, you will send them (4 priority+2 backups) at your earliest convenience. They will then create your itinerary, and make the appointments for your party, provided they can be accommodated, and take you accordingly throughout the day. Large parties (7+) have limited options for winery choices.

The Wine Line

We are a semi-private, door-to-door, “Hop On, Hop Off” shuttle style wine tasting tour service. We let you set your pace and create your own itinerary. We pick you up at your accommodations and start you on our loops. We service over 90 wineries in the Paso Robles wine country and you just pick and choose where you want to “hop on” and “hop off” all day long. You are no longer stuck with a group of strangers on a set schedule for the entire day!

This was our first time to the Paso Robles wineries. My husband and I had Larry as our driver for the day. He was awesome and gave us some great tips about the area and the wineries on our list. Larry was informative, funny and so helpful. It was so nice to leave the driving to someone else and just relax and enjoy the day!! This seemed like the perfect time of year to go on a tour. The wineries weren't crowded and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking!!! Thanks Larry for making this day tons of fun for us!!!

My daughters and I have been coming to Cambria for a girls trip for 4 years now and had always talked about visiting the wineries in Paso Robles. We finally took the plunge this year and decided to do a wine tour. I googled wine tours and opted for hoponthewineline.com and we were more than happy with the results. Every aspect of our adventure was easy, affordable and convenient. It was easy to arrange online (even for a techno challenged person such as me), I was contacted quickly by Jason who helped with the details, and it met our needs totally. We were picked up at our hotel on Moonstone Beach right on time, with a comfortable, clean van and a friendly, courteous, efficient tour guide. Larry was wonderful! He was informative, funny, personable and helpful. He asked questions to get to know what we had hoped to get out of the tour, never pushed an agenda, but when asked, his suggestions were on point and perfect. He even lugged our purchases back to the van for us! And best of all, neither of us had to do the driving, so we were both free to enjoy the scenery and the water and snacks provided. (Nice perk!) Thank you so much Larry and the hop on the wine line for a terrific experience.

Larry on time always. Extremely courteous and helpful with tips to get best tasting deals and where to eat. Wish more of the high-end wineries were included but enjoyed all the ones we visited. This was a perfect time to go tasting--the scenery is outstanding- rolling hills, green as can be and wildflowers everywhere.
