We booked a Semi-Private Surf lessons for three kids under 10 years old. When we booked it, we were promised having 2 instructors, but at the time of the lesson, they only had one instructor and another instructor was tending in between this semi-private group and another large adult group. Normally you would expect the large adult group lesson would be at a slightly different surfing area, but since they didn't have enough instructors, they combined our semi-private surf lesson with the large adult group even though we paid the Semi-private lesson price. In addition, they also cut our lesson time significantly. The kids were in the ocean for probably only 30-40 minutes while it advertised the lesson as 1.5 hours. I can understand that there's probably 10 or 15 minutes of onshore instruction time, but they also counted the time we walked from where we met to where we surfed, which is probably 5–10-minute walk. Also, lesson was supposed to end at 10am. They pull us out of the water at 9:45am.

Kids were nervous, after both girls were all smiles and wanted to surf more. Knowledgeable surf instructor, I would recommend to anyone.

Had a lesson set for my 2 children. Tyler was very welcoming and informative. All in all a great experience and now my son wants another lesson. 2nd lesson was with Fred and he was great as well! Well done!
