We did a family semi private surf lesson on Kaanapali Beach and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Initially, on the AM of the day we scheduled the instructor called us and recommended we reschedule as the surf was poor. We appreciated this proactive approach. The lessons were great and instructors Tyler and Koa had a lot of patience with us and helped us find the right swells to take off on. My son really got fired up and now wants to surf more frequently. I would highly recommend for families looking for a fun and active experience.

Surfing was on my bucket list so it was super important that I take lessons while in Maui on my honeymoon. Our instructor Christian was super laid back and a great teacher. My husband stood up on his board during his first wave thanks to good teaching. We highly recommend Island Style Adventures for your surfing needs.
