Take a surfing lesson and enjoy a fun, safe and unforgettable surfing experience! Everything you need to surf is provided in one easy lesson. Each lesson includes a 10-15 minute land lesson on the basics of surfing and ocean safety. The rest of the lesson is spent in the water with your instructor. We are dedicated to providing surfing lessons to each student with a fun, safe and unforgettable surf experience. We adapt our style of teaching to the ability of each student. We will go that extra mile to make your surf experience the most memorable highlight of your vacation!

I could not be happier with the experience we had with surf lessons! Al was excellent, easily balancing an eager 14 year old who was excited to surf but also nervous about having lessons and myself, a reluctant tag along. He was super calm, easy going and had an amazing ability to laugh and pump your tires without letting you feel stressed or in the spotlight with pressure to do well. My goal was just to get a feel for the board and maybe catch some waves on my knees, but Al had both of us up on our feet in no time! If you are surfing in Kihei this is an excellent experience, well worth the price for the lessons. Their rental prices are also great, so book this at the beginning of your trip if traveling with kids and then you can rent them boards to keep practicing on their own another day on the same beach if they love it.

Second time surfing with Maui Waveriders. They are the best! Instructors are so helpful and chill and the spot is super fun. Waves and slow rolling but big enough to still progress on.
