Torrey Ridge Winery

A Finger Lakes family winery tradition, they are in the heart of Amish country with Mennonite farms surrounding the Winery. They are located on the West side of New York's beautiful Seneca Lake.

Anthony Road Wine Company

Arrive at this charming pioneering property on 100 acres of the northwestern bank of Seneca Lake. Taste through the crafted portfolio of Anne & John Martini. With the help of friends and family, they planted the first grapes, all hybrid varieties, in 1973. An array of wine is produced – from dry to dessert – with a range of tastes designed to please connoisseurs and casual aficionados alike.

I used to live in Ithaca and did a lot of wine tasting tours on my own back in the late 90s. I decided to hire a tour guide this time bc of all the COVID restrictions. So glad we did! Tom Favitta, our driver, was a great guide. He gave some nice info about the Finger lakes along the way, was very accommodating about the air temp in the van, and got us to each of our destinations safe and sound and on time. The wineries on the tour were all great picks and each was very different. Our fave was The Barnstormer, and Hannah was our fave wine pouring host. We will be back on another Crush tour for sure!!

Had a great time on our tour. Visited four wineries and ate lunch at Ginny Lee’s Restaurant across from Wagner winery. Learned so much about wine especially at Wagner winery. Our tour guide, Gary, was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. We did the Seneca South and West tour.

Tom Favitta was amazing. Could not have asked for a better host/driver. He is the reason for the “5” rating. The selection of wineries was not great. Two were fine, Ventosa and Fox Run. The other two, Zugibe and Torry Ridge were lacking charm, content and interest on behalf of the providers. Torry Ridge filled up 4 shot glasses, provided very little description and then walked away. In addition, we were expecting a tour at one of the stops, which didn’t happen.
