Overview

Hop on a cruise to Shell Key Island and see dolphins and other wildlife while snorkeling. At this pristine wildlife preserve, you'll get to snorkel and observe the wildlife, go for a relaxing swim, or just walk along the beach and collect shells. Depending on the time of year, you'll see dolphins in their natural habitat, along with manatees, rays, and wild birds.

All of our rides are semi-private, with a maximum of 6 passengers per boat, so you get to avoid the crowds when you ride with us.

This was a highlight of our trip! Captain Dalton was a great tour guide. He was knowledgeable of the area and history which made for an interesting boat ride. He even let my kids drive the boat! He spotted dolphins for us and got them to “surf” in the waves of the boat. Shell Key was nice also. We found some shells, enjoyed snorkeling and walking along the beach. After we got back, we had lunch at Island Grille and were allowed to use the pool if we wanted! Thank you Captain Dalton for a great morning and the memories!

We went on 2 tours. First was the sunset dolphin tour and next day was snorkeling and dolphin cruise. We saw lots of dolphins on both tours. Both tours were awesome! We had Captain Dalton for both, I highly recommend asking for him as your captain, although the others were super friendly as well. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We felt welcomed and like we were cruising with a friend. Can't wait to come back and do the other excursions! Thanks Island Ferry and Captain Dalton for the great time. See you on our next trip for sure!

Staff was fantastic!! So knowledgeable and so much fun! They really cared about us having a great experience. We will definitely be having more adventures with this group in the future!
