Overview

Hop on a cruise to Shell Key Island and see dolphins and other wildlife while snorkeling. At this pristine wildlife preserve, you'll get to snorkel and observe the wildlife, go for a relaxing swim, or just walk along the beach and collect shells. Depending on the time of year, you'll see dolphins in their natural habitat, along with manatees, rays, and wild birds.

All of our rides are semi-private, with a maximum of 6 passengers per boat, so you get to avoid the crowds when you ride with us.

Very nice experience. We saw a manatee before leaving th docks, 3 sting rays on our way into shell key, and we found sand dollars star fish, crab, and of course lots of shells.

Loved the boat ride. We didn’t get to snorkel because the water wasn’t clear. We saw several dolphins. Guests have access to the marina pool which is very nice.

Actually Jill you *chose* not to snorkel because you had expectations that were not realistic. And yes water clarity is very variable from one day to the next, just as humidity and air temperature and winds. I don't think its fair or appropriate to penalize us for an aspect of mother nature that we have no control over.

Definitely one of the highlights of our Florida vacation! We saw so many dolphins as well as a few manatees and even a little shark. Captain Dalton was a great time and very knowledgeable about the area and animals sharing many interesting facts as he tracked down the dolphins. The beach they take you to to snorkel is a quiet little strip of paradise, although we didn't see much snorkeling wise my boyfriend and I had a great time swimming in the warm water and collecting shells and sand dollars, we even found a quiet spot all to ourselves and felt like we were on our own private island. We booked a two hour trip thinking it would be plenty of time for this experience but ended up wishing it was longer. They even drop you back off at a great little beach bar/pool that was a fun spot to spend the afternoon after our charter. Would book again in a heartbeat if we ever return to Tampa
