Shared 2 Hours Group Surf Lesson at Venice Beach

Overview

We are a FUN SURF LA surf school based on Venice Beach. Our goal is for you to have an excellent experience surfing, whether it's your first time trying surfing or you are trying to advance your skills. For the first 30-40 minutes we will be training on the beach - then it’s one hour with the instructors in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun with the surfboards that we provide you.

We’ll be giving lessons on Venice Beach - one of the most famous beaches in California. You’ll be able to not only enjoy the ocean and get surfing experience, but also explore the unique spirit of the eccentric cultural hub of Venice Beach.

Amazing Surfing experience. I've had 3 prior lessons over the years in Hawaii. I had a group lesson at 8am with two others. Anto was our young but experienced instructor (years hitting the Argentinian waves). Communication was just the right level from the land instructions and out in the water. The waves were strong and more than what I've had in the past. Was great place to surf for a beginner - intermediate (I can't speak for advanced people who I'm sure have their spots they love that is beyond my ability). Definitely worth doing it again with Fun Surf LA.

I’m visiting LA for couple weeks and wanted to learn how to surf. I had 3 lessons with Anto and Matio and it was great. I even got on surf on the first lesson and it was getting better each time with the help of guys. They pay attention to all of the participants, help and correct mistakes. I liked how positive everyone has been, that what really makes this experience the best. Thank you guys, I wish all the best. Maggy❤️🔥

My girlfriend and I attended the 10am lesson on 8/4/21. Despite us running about 15 minutes late (good ole SoCal traffic...), we were still able to join the rest of the group and get nearly two full hours of activity in the water. Mati did a good job ensuring that the group of us had a good understanding of different methods to paddle and stand up on the board. He was also very attentive while we were all in the water, making sure to watch participants' rides and make sure everyone was having fun, and that they were okay after their wipeouts (for which there were plenty!). Would definitely suggest to anyone looking for an affordable and fun outdoor experience! Thanks!
