Roy was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He made sure we understood what to look for and was receptive to answering questions. We were picked up at the front door of our hotel in Long Beach and dropped back off there at the end of the tour. How convenient! As first time visitors to LA we recommend this tour as a good overview of the entire area.

We had Roy as our guide for the day. While he shared a wealth of knowledge about LA he made several comments implying that we were rich stating “oh well you would have no problem affording that” which made the trip awkward. The route wasn’t fully as advertised which we understand some things had to be altered due to Covid which is fine but would recommend mentioning these adjustments in your advertisements so people know ahead of time instead of being told the morning of that several stops had been changed or removed all together. The tour also wasn’t as long as advertised ending an hour early. All and all we felt we got our monies worth out of the day but the offbeat comments and lack of notice on changes ultimately led to a 3 star rating

Thank you for sharing your input concerning your recent tour with us. I appreciate your comments concerning the guide's knowledge and have shared your feeling about awkward comments with him. He said his intent was to use humor to call attention to the expensive nature of some of the attractions in the tour and not, in any way, offend you. Clearly, he failed with that effort and he asked me to apologize to you. Thank you for your understanding for our having had to make a number of, hopefully short term, changes to our itinerary caused by pandemic restrictions imposed on us. Modifications and restrictions are often imposed on short notice and change sometimes from day to day. Updating publications to reflect temporary restrictions is impractical. We do try to inform our guests as promptly as possible. Again I appreciate your taking the time to share your comments with us.
