With a day to spare before our Cruise from San Pedro and we looked for a one day tour of Los Angeles. We had a fantastic day being guided around this amazing city by Alberto and would fully recommend to anyone. Alberto was a font of knowledge for all things LA and within the film world. We seemed to visit all the 'key' sites and were introduced to a great diner - Mels - large portions so beware!! We had wonderful weather and the views from Griffiths observatory were immense - could happily have spent 30 minutes here rather that the obligatory 5mins - would it be worth paying the $8 parking fee so guests can have longer to explore? Thanks for your most welcome comments concerning the tour. We understand what you said about the Observatory. The issue not the $8. Instead it is that the Observatory imposes a time restriction on the buses. They want us to drop the guest off and come back in an hour to pick them up. We feel that taking that much time out of the 8 hour tour would short change many of the other attractions along the 100 mile journey. Time is always a difficult commodity ... too little for so many options. I have shared your comments with Alberto who expressed his gratitude also. Thanks again for sharing your input and for joining us on our tour.

Thanks for sharing your comments. We agree that stopping on Rodeo Drive would be an asset. Unfortunately, as the result of some inappropriate behavior by some tour operators, Beverly Hills no longer permits tour buses to stop on Rodeo. It is a shame that the actions of a few have ruined it for the rest. Thanks again for joining us on our tour and for sharing your input.
