We took the 2-hour trip and went about 3 miles out into the ocean. We followed a school of dolphins around for a while. It was pretty cool and got some good photos and videos of dolphins. No whales, but a nice trip on the ocean. The boat was clean and they had refreshments for purchase. Nice experience.

We went with Oceanside Adventures two times for whale watching. The first time did not see anything but second time we ran into a huge pod of common dolphins! If you don't see anything they will provide a free return trip. The boat is very nice and comfortable. I have a tendency for motion sickness but both trips I was just fine. 2 beautiful days on the water we loved the experience and will return again.

Highly recommend this even though we weren't lucky as far as whales and dolphins go. They had a promotion on where kids sail free with every purchased adult ticket. I wasn't sure whether my son would want to go when I bought mine, so didn't add him at time of purchase. When I called in, the attendant was very sympathetic and added my son to my booking free of charge. Very impressive. It's a big boat with lots of room and friendly, knowledgeable staff who were on their binoculars tirelessly trying to find something for us to see. Concession prices were reasonable, which kept my 8 year-old occupied! It was a great day on the water.
