Great daytime activity and we'll be back! Traveled during heat wave 9/6/20 and so refreshing. Recommend the late afternoon tour 2:30-4:30 as the late afternoon sun really glistens. Crew was great and although no whales (a little early in the season), the huge pods of dolphins amongst us made up for it. During pandemic, felt incredibly comfortable. Hats off to the crew for ensuring this level of safety for their guests. Our trip was disrupted due to an 'unruly' family who were warned about keeping masks on but continued to disobey. So, Captain turned us back to shore, docked, and asked them to get off the boat. Certainly, this was a bummer but he brought us back our and made up for it the best they could. Collectively, remaining guests cheering and appreciative and happy that our local businesses are keeping CA safe and protecting their ability to operate. Hats off and handled professionally with this 'entitled' family. Can't wait to return!

We didn’t see any whales but saw dolphins and some seals. The ride was still amazing while enjoying a snack and a drink! Wonderful crew as well!

What a horrible experience! This company must be under new management because we used to come on this trip often years ago and the customer service used to be great! Even though we never really saw much on these trips we enjoyed the outing on the boat! Today was a different story... we bought the tickets at the kiosk and my husband went to buy us coffee because we had 7 minutes to kill before departure and they don’t offer much on the boat. I walked down to the boat and waited around the jetty area looking at the other boats when this rude man yelled at me from the boat, telling me I can’t get on the boat, I need to go back to the kiosk and wait for him!! At first I was shocked by his demeanor and proceeded telling him that I didn’t want to get on the boat I was just minding my business waiting for my husband. He continued yelling at me letting me know that I need to leave and that I WILL go to the kiosk and wait for him. I asked him why they let me walk all the way down to the boat without letting me know that I had to wait up at the kiosk, which is quite a walk away. I couldn’t believe that he expected me to walk all the way back to the kiosk after he spoke to me in such a rude manner when the boat was leaving in less than five minutes by now. There was obviously an oversight or a misunderstanding on where we had to wait and I could have been a friendly, professional correction! He then yelled at me and said; “You ARE going to walk back up to the kiosk and I will call the woman to give you a refund because you will not get on this boat today, you can go home!” Why was this treatment and behavior necessary? Who speaks to customers or any person in public like like this??? Come to find out that “Captain Shane” was in fact the owner of the company??? Wow! I am shocked and disappointed that you can treat your paying customers like this and think you will stay in business! Aside from all of this they are not following social distancing restrictions and rules either!!! I have lived in Oceanside for 20 years and I have never come across any person let alone a business owner who treats people like this! What a horrible loss for the community! If you want to be humiliated, treated like trash and not see ANY dolphins or whales at the same time go on this trip!!! This was not worth the money or the effort to be treated like rubbish! There are other companies offering better experiences at Oceanside Harbor and San Clemente near by!

Cathy, we are sorry for the misunderstanding. We have Covid-19 protocols in place for everyone’s health/safety and our Captain asked you nicely two times to please wait up near the kiosk which we started doing after re-opening in June. We have not changed management, it has been the same crew as the other times you went out with us. Our top priority is the health/safety of all our passengers and crew. If procedures cannot be followed on land there is a huge concern for what could possibly happen at sea. As written on our reviews we have not had any issues with passengers complying to our Covid-19 procedures and they appreciate all that we are doing to follow official orders. Also posted on our website is our Daily Sightings Log for everyone to follow along what we see and it’s a rare that we don’t see dolphins or whales. We pride ourselves in providing an exceptional experience for all our guests and being the top rated outdoor activity in Oceanside.
