This is the only shark tour in the USA and to our knowledge the only tour where guests do not get in the water to view the sharks. Delight in close-up views of sharks and a variety of other marine life. What To Expect

Key West Extreme Adventures Shark Tours

After check-in, the Tiger Cat will cruise through Key West harbor on the way to the Key West National Wildlife Refuge. Here guests will see numerous sharks and a variety of wildlife including dolphin.

Key West

Travel through shallow water close to mangrove islands as you make your way about 4 miles (6.4 km) away from shore to the shark viewing site. Along the way, keep your eyes open for dolphin, sea turtles, stingrays, barracudas, tarpon and an array of native birds. Listen to your experienced pilot discuss the delicate ecosystem of this area and its abundance of wildlife. Enjoy complimentary water, soda, juice — as well as the use of polarized sunglasses — during your trip. When you arrive at the shark destination, get ready for an unforgettable experience! Your pilot will use bait to draw a host of sharks that swim right up to the boat so you and your family can observe them in safety and comfort. See numerous lemon and nurse sharks, and watch out for bull, black tip and hammerhead sharks during nearly one hour of shark viewing. Capture dramatic photos you can't wait to share with family and friends.

This was probably the highlight of our week in Key West! The catamaran is very clean and after the obligatory health and safety speech, Captain Clay and his uncle took us out onto the water. We love aquatic water tours and this is up with all the ones we have ever done! We were given lots of information during out trip to the sharks and able to ask any questions that we could think of. We got to the spot for the sharks, and boy did they come for a feed. The lemon sharks were amazing, munching on the bait and it wasn't frenzied. Got a lot of time to take photographs and videos of the sharks. I really don't know what else to say, it has to be seen to get the best experience. Captain Clay was in contact with other boats and they were all telling each other where the dolphins were and we saw about 6 of them, a couple of calfs. They were beautiful to watch. We saw plenty of other wildlife on our way to and from our trip - pelicans, egret and rays. You can tell that the family really care about the wildlife and what they do for a living and they are very respectful of the them as well as the sea. I didn't want the trip to end, but I will be doing this again when we return to Key West in the future.

I really enjoyed the tour. We saw some dolphins, lemonsharks, a turtle and serveral little animals. I can really recommend this adventure.

We went on the Shark tour yesterday. We saw multitudes of Lemon Sharks. For a bonus we also got to see plenty of Dolphins too. Clay was our Captain. David, Clay’s uncle was guiding us. They were both informative and helpful. I loved this trip. Well worth the money. I will definitely be back.
