We offer the Ultimate Adventure - Our Glass Bottom Kayak LED illuminated Night Tours! In fact no one else offers this experience anywhere in the world with our custom light system & kayaks and how we've trained the fish to follow us! Become a Fish Whisperer for a magical night under the stars! At our St. Pete Beach location we'll first visit a mangrove bird island & learn about several types of seabirds! Afterwards we'll paddle down protected waterways & see amazing underwater views along with feeding fish which is fun for everyone! The fish will follow our kayaks and get so close you can even touch them! You may also see crabs, shrimp & other sea-life as we illuminate the waters around us. With literally nothing to do at night in Water Sports, our Glass Bottom Kayak LED illuminated Night Tours are perfect for families, friends, large groups, or an unforgettable date night under the stars! These are dry kayaks so you can wear full clothing with shoes and even stay warm in the winter!

What To Expect

Spa Oceana at The Don CeSar

We'll start by paddling through protected waterways in St. Pete Beach first stopping at a mangrove island that's home to hundreds of birds including Pelicans, Cranes, Egrets, and Double Crested Cormorants.

Since we got there, we were very excited to go out on the water. The guides were very thorough with the rules and helped us out a lot. The whole experience was very fun and we were glad to get a good workout in while enjoying the beautiful view of the fishes beneath us. Thank you so much for everything!

I would definitely recommend this experience, and this company in particular. We saw the kayaks going out, and were very interested, so the guide gave us the tour info and Sharkey’s was able to squeeze us into the group the following night. Great customer service! This would be a 5-star experience for most people. It was fascinating and beautiful, a very unusual experience. The only reason I gave it a 4 is that I had a real hard time keeping up with the pace of the tour, which detracted from the overall experience. Our guide, Jake, was awesome. Very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about what he does. Kayaking at night is a whole different experience than daytime!

We received instructions 2 hr before the event, it was clear directions and where to park. Our location was near Don Cesar hotel, and parking was free after 8 pm. The parking during the day is for cars with boats but after 8 pm it is allowed for normal cars to park there. Our tour was cancelled twice due to heavy storms but they gave us the option to reschedule or be refunded. I never kayak before so it was exciting to do it for the first time at night. It usually takes 30 mins to arrive to the bridge where we feed the fish, and in between we got caught up by a rogue rain cloud. We got soaked but it was fun. We kayaked near the mangroves and saw the birds sleeping there, we saw long sea grass and oyster banks. Lots of fish under the bridge. 2 people were allowed per kayak. Your shoulders might hurt towards the end due to the nature of the exercise, but they gave us water since it is included with the trip. Usually the entire tour lasts about 1.5 hrs. Overall it was a great experience, would do it again.
