We visit local shrimping families at their boat docks a few hours before your shrimp boil to choose the largest, freshest, wild-caught local shrimp available. Mister Gregory, "The Shrimp Boil King of New Orleans" grew up in the Gulf South shrimping and boiling and advocating for wild-caught Gulf Shrimp and the "eat it to save it" culinary approach. Please join us for live local music and a lovely dinner party, make some new friends and eat the very best shrimp in the world.

This is our second visit to McGregor’s shrimp boil and we have been completely satisfied both times. The food is outstanding the entertainment is engaging in the experience is unique! We highly recommend the experience!

The shrimp boil cabaret experience in the French quarter with Mister Gregory was absolutely amazing and beyond delicious!! He is your personal chef who does the boil himself. He knows the local fisherman who he buys from and has stories about the history he is with them. He had his good friends who have a band come in and play while we ate. The food was beyond delicious and we couldn’t stop eating. You definitely don’t leave hungry!! We highly recommend doing the shrimp boil while in New Orleans.
