Months in advance, we booked a lunch cruise on the Boston Harbor for our parents 50th wedding anniversary. Family members booked flights to come in from around the country for the big day. Then, thirty days before the event, we get a text message saying the cruise has been canceled for “unforeseen circumstances.” When we called the number to inquire, the customer service representative said there were “not enough tickets being sold” for the lunch cruise, so they canceled it. However, we could transfer to a different day. We inquired if there was an evening cruise that night instead since their anniversary only happens once. He explained that, yes, there was an evening cruise, but that “too many tickets” had been sold for that event. WTF? This company is unreliable and total joke!!!
