Sinners & Saints: Galveston Walking Tour Age 16+

Overview
Age 16 and up ONLY

In the early 1900’s, Galveston had more “working girls” per capita than any place in the world and the fate of these women was that the simply vanished. Join us as we walk through the dark side of Galveston’s Red Light District. Hear the stories of the spirits, refusing to leave the only homes they ever knew.. You’ll learn about the “vices” that caused Galveston to earn its nickname: Pleasure Island and see the places, regulated by “good guy” mobsters that kept everything running smoothly.

No one ever showed up. I had written them over a month ago asking if they were going to do a 4th of July tour. I called and it went to voice mail. I drove from Austin to Galveston to do tour mainly. Very disappointing.

We really enjoyed the history in the stories Rachel told. At the scariest story, in the alley, a black cat walked behind us. That added a little spook to the evening😉

Rachel was a great tour guide. Very personable and knowledgeable. Learned so much that we never knew about the red light district. Will be taking more tours in the future.
