We will pick you up curbside in front of the Baltimore Visitor center. There is ample parking in the area.

Owners Judy, Steve, and Rob took their passion for brewing and turned it into a brick and mortar reality. Checkerspot sources the finest local ingredients for their beer.

As Baltimore residents who had been to all of the breweries (Heavy Seas, Diamondback, Brewhouse #16, and Waverly), we were skeptical. We got the tour as a Christmas gift, and it delivered. The tour guide, Isaac, was knowledgeable about the beer and each of the breweries, but also did not overdo it. There was plenty of beer served, and he tried to make sure we all tried a range of beers at each stop. The lunch at Brewhouse #16 was adequate, but snacks at other places would have been appreciated.

Isaac was our guide for a tour of three breweries through Baltimore. Happy to report that even though I am a resident of the city, I had only visited one of the breweries prior to the tour. The driving bits were comfortable and informative as Isaac led us through the history of beer. He also made himself available at the different stops to chat up about more nuanced facets of brewing and the brewing community. I tried a wider variety of beers than I likely would have if I had simply shown up myself to the venues and the quantity was perfect. Thank you for a great night and to all the staff at City Brew Tours. I hope you can expand further north of Baltimore too!

We organized a company outing for 28. Ryan was our guide and did an outstanding job. The only hiccup was the transportation. Since we had a larger group, the partnering bus company sent a driver that was less than stellar, however that was a minor inconvenience and minimally affected our event. (It's the only reason I didn't give it 5/5) All in all I would highly recommend this for your group!
