  • What to Wear - Dress for an evening out of dinner and dancing in a famous restaurant nightclub with neon lights and a tropical vibe. We do allow shorts and casual vacation attire. Please wear appropriate shoes for dancing so that you are comfortable all night and can have a great time! NO - flip flops, bathing suits or see-through clothing. You will need to change before coming from the beach. No baseball hats or tank tops for men.

Last night, I took my first salsa & bachata class along w/ my boyfriend. We had an amazing and pleasant time there with Alex going over the steps little by little and making it easier for us to learn. The most important part is that it was so much fun! Amazing is a total understatement for what we experienced last night. Highly recommend!

If you’re visiting Miami for the first time Salsa Mia is a MUST! Within 2 hours, Alex will teach you the basics of bachata and salsa and some extra tips if the class is a little advanced! The instructor is very sweet, funny and patient which makes the class really fun! When the class is over you have all night access to Mango’s nightclub downstairs. I went to the beach at night, came back and danced til 2am! I will definitely be coming back every time I visit Miami!

It was really a fun evening, the lesson was good with a teacher striking the right balance between rigor and humour! The group was very diverse and got on well. And the Mojitos were the best we had on Miami beach, you'll need another round after the two hours! And the club access after is cool as the shows are of good quality, in Jan it's not overly crowded and a good period to go!
