What To Expect

Cahaba Brewing Company

We will stop at 3 of the breweries listed.Cahaba quickly outgrew our first location in Birmingham’s Pepper Place/Lakeview district. A few years later, in January 2016, we moved our 3 barrel homebrew project to East Avondale and upgraded to a 30 barrel brewhouse. Cahaba is currently located in a 51,000 square foot building in the Historical Continental Gin Complex. Our spacious Taproom has quickly become one of Birmingham’s favorite spots. With over 26 taps, our Taproom has awesome Cahaba staples like Blonde, Oka Uba, Pale Ale, and Lager, while also sporting Pilot Batch and Taproom-only offerings.

Good People Brewing Company

We will stop at 3 of the breweries listed. The taproom of this microbrewery is set right in the middle of the brewing action, with tours given.

The tour was absolutely amazing! The tour guide, DUSTIN was the BEST! My husband and our 25 year old son went- 3 breweries and 11 samples and we were maxed out!

We had a great time. Dustin was a wonderful host of the city. All the beer was fantastic. I would return to all the places we stopped on the tour. I recommend others take this tour when they visit the city.

Dustin was incredibly knowledgeable and a fantastic host/guide! Our trip included about 6 co-workers and it functioned as a great "team-building" experience as well as an opportunity to support our local businesses. We visited 3 breweries in downtown BHAM... Good People, Monday Night, and Cahaba and were treated like VIP's. The trip, in total, was about 3.5 hrs. Well done City Brew Tours! I will definitely refer others to this great experience!
