Bryan Terrell was our driver and guide for this drive from Skagway to Caribou Crossing in the Yukon. He did an exceptional job telling us about the history of that area of Canada and life in Alaska in general as we drove to and from Skagway to the dog mushing site. He was very considerate of everyone on the drive, took every opportunity to stop when we spotted wildlife to take pictures (we saw a mama bear and her two cubs on the drive), and stopped on multiple occasions for us to take pictures of the landscape. I would definitely recommend him as your guide. The landscape itself was breathtaking and we had a great time riding in a dog "sled" (it was a large ATV because it was summer) and spending time with the puppies. Highly recommended.

When I knew we were coming to Alaksa, I wanted to go dog sledding, but I was worried about bringing my spirited toddler on a helicopter, to the top of a glacier, so when i found this excursion option- i knew it would be the right choice. We had so much fun on the tour through the Yukon. Brian was lovely, and so knowledgable. He was fun, and funny, and had no reservations stopping and taking pictures of us/our families. He had a perfect system to make sure everyone was accomodated and got their family photos taken, without slowing down our whole trip. I loved learning about the history of Skagway, and the Yukon. Being a florida native, the landscape was so vastly different- it was really nice listening to someone who knew about the area so clearly and passionately. We loved the dog camp. Lunch was BBQ chicken, coleslaw, a potato and HOMEMADE donuts! It was lovely. I wish we'd been able to actually snuggle the dogs longer than we were able to, but all in all, it was a fantastic trip. We were hitched to an ATV, and the dogs pulled us! It was so great! I dont remember hearing my son laugh so hard as he did that day.. It was a wonderful trip!
