What To Expect

Copper Barrel Distillery

Our Spirit Guides will provide you with an interesting overview of our deeply rooted moonshine heritage and unique production process during a guided tour of our historic facility. And, adults over 21 may have up to six samples of our internationally renowned craft spirits -which just happen to be truly artisanal moonshines.

Loved the tour!!! It was amazing and the tasting was even better! 10/10 recommend. We had a fun experience and will definitely be back!

Anna was a great tour guide and she’s a relative of the owner, so she was incredibly knowledgeable. The moonshine was so smooth and tasted delicious. We got to see the mash during our tour and it smelled amazing! The coffee moonshine was our favorite, we wish we could’ve taken a bottle home! We left with white lightening, black cherry, and blueberry moonshines as well as the jerky and cherry peanuts, all of which are great choices!

Opted for the tour and moonshine tasting. Anna, the great niece of the master distiller led the tour, who was friendly and knowledgeable. The distillery is set up in in a repurposed building with lots of character. The video and tour was educational. At the end of the tour we tasted 6 different moonshine flavors. Several favorites! Wish we could buy the expresso moonshine but sadly not available to be sold...yet. Was the best of the bunch!
