Guests ages 17 years old or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone will be subject to ejection. This chaperone requirement applies to all Knott’s Berry Farm and Knott’s Soak City Waterpark ticket and season passholders. Additional days requiring chaperones may be added at the discretion of Knott’s Berry Farm.

Knott's Berry Farm

At Knott's Berry Farm, visitors will discover four uniquely themed areas each presenting a taste of the Southern California experience. "Old West Ghost Town" is a trip into the past with gun-slinging bandits duking it out in the legendary Wild West Stunt Show. The vibe of the Southern California surf scene washes over "The Boardwalk", while "Fiesta Village" pays homage to Spanish California. For the younger visitors, "Camp Snoopy" is home to the PEANUTS Gang and offers 20 kid-approved rides and hands-on adventures. With so much to do and see, Knott's Berry Farm Resort remains a popular vacation destination that no other can match! Please Note: Knott's Berry Farm is cashless. For in-park purchases, they accept credit and debit cards, Apple and Google Pay. You are able to convert cash to cards at kiosks within the park.

We spent the day here on a trip to California recently. The park had just reopened to 100% capacity and it was a disaster. Not only was it very crowded and very understaffed, but it felt unsafe. There was no social distancing anywhere, no sign of any cleaning practices, let alone, extra cleaning due to Covid. I did not see anyone in the park wearing a mask. We paid for the “skip the line” passes. On many rides there were only a couple of people ahead of us. However, the loading and unloading of the rides was so inefficient, that we often just stood there waiting for 15-20 minutes. Many rides had one worker doing everything. Not only is that unsafe, but it’s not efficient. The park should not have opened up to full capacity without proper staffing and safety measures in place.

Rides are great but lines can make this trip terrible. We opted to buy fast pass tickets after getting there which added $94 each to cost of admission to avoid 2 hour waits! Makes for an expensive day. Don’t buy the food plan. Many places within the park do not accept it and you are stuck with few choices. We had a terrible lunch with a long wait in ghost town and a good dinner at a barbecue place, but lines are really long. Have someone in your party go first while kids enjoy another ride if you have a fast pass. Be prepared to wait- better options if you don’t have a dining plan. Note, desserts are not included unless you buy premium and then only few. We had a fun day , but it was close to $1000 for our family. Worth it? Certainly not often.

General $59 Fast pass $90 All-day dining $34.47 Souvenir bottles with all-day free refill $15.07 Funpix $29.99 Soak City $48 2021-August. Our hotel had a free shuttle to Knotts Berry Farm. We arrived at 10:15 am, and there was already a 7-minute line for the bag checks. They do allow outside snacks and drinks. 3 families were in front of us in the park entrance to get our ticket scanned. No park map was handed. Mask was not mandatory. A funpix id was given in the funpix booth. If your child wants to take pictures with the characters, then funpix deal is good. Our child didn't and not all rides have photos, so i didn't think it was worth it. Our fast pass bracelets were given to us @ The General Store. Lines were at least an hour long and LONGER at the popular rides. It was great to have the fast pass as it reduced our waiting in line into 3-8 minutes. We like the game prizes. About $6 per game. But the games works with a game card. The Game card itself is free BUT you have to put money in it ($5 increments). So we ended up with $2 unused balance. There were some restroom were the faucets were installed incorrectly, as the water spout ended up an inch or less from the sink wall. Hard to wash hands when your hands keeps hitting the sink wall. Some of the restrooms runout of toilet paper @ noon. Lol! So make sure you have toilet paper before you sit @ the toilet. 😆. It was fun for us because of the fast pass.
