The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Guide whisked us past long line and tour began immediately. He was kind and knowledgeable. However, Viator was not helpful with adding an additional person even 24 hours prior to tour therefore my experience was not as good as my own daughter could not join us. It would have been very easy to add her - the museum was not crowded.

I have been to the Met many times in the past 4 decades, but I've never had a personal tour. I decided to take my 14-year-old during February break, and we had such a wonderful experience with Katherine. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us an excellent mix of classic art history along with some behind-the-scenes type anecdotes. She went 50 minutes overtime with us; we couldn't believe how the time flew by. She checked in with us frequently and was willing to tailor the tour to our interests. I would schedule again in a heartbeat.
