Having never been to The Met or had a private tour anywhere, we didn't know what to expect. Mark blew us away with his positive and upbeat attitude. His knowledge and insight allowed us to 'see' the art and not merely look at it. A wonderful experience and we are planning another trip to bring our adult children!!! Can't wait to introduce the kids to The Met and Mark!!!

The entire tour was wonderful and informative. Jeff did an excellent job showing us so many pieces and explaining the significance. We also LOVED the hearing the "little known facts". Highly recommend.

I was excited - arrived 30 mins early!! Mark Venaglia was our guide n he was excellent. He's also an artist, we were psyched! I was traveling solo n so was another woman in the group. Mark was courteous. He made us feel comfortable, n as a group, very inclusive. Mark made us think/look in depth of the exquisite artworks/sculptures not just from a layman's perspective but an artist - what's in the pictures/sculptures etc, hints to look at that tells a story. Loved it!! I highly recommend this tour. But I do wished that The MET would do evening tours. It would be creepy awesome ;)
