The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Its roughly 2 million works of art and artifacts cover everything from Ancient Egypt to modern art. From the Great Hall, you’ll visit the museum’s most important galleries. We had an excellent experience with Mark. We learned a lot and we explored areas of the Museum that we would never find by ourselves. He is a very enthusiastic and smart teacher! Highly recommended tour!

It was excellent!!! I booked this tour for my 40th birthday, for me, my 8 year old daughter and my two parents. Robin was our guide. She turned the experience into an exceptional, memorable art history lesson. She also did a fabulous job catering to my child in terms of talking and taught all of us so much. My mom said she never appreciated certain impressionist artists (her favorite art period) until Robin explained about them. I was nervous about the cost, but this half day was everything I wanted and worth every penny! I strongly recommend this experience if you are interested in art and history, as well as a wonderful overview of the Met.
