For a person who is not into art I found the Met amazing! We were there for about 2 hours after the tour and if we had more time in NYC, I would have gone back. Our tour guide, Katherine was fun and informative. She whipped us around that museum to show us as much as she could during our tour. It was so nice to have a tour guide to show us around the museum. It is such a massive place, that if you don't get lost, kudos to you:)

I recently joined a friend in New York for a few days of fun and leisure. One of our outings was the Skip the Line Tour at the Metropolitan Museum Art given neither of us had been previously on trips to NYC. Our guide Katherine was delightful and gave us a great overview of the museum's history, the many galleries and highlighted several notable works of art not to be missed. She truly gave our group the utmost care ensuring that she answered questions, made stops along the way to point out items of interest, gave time to take pics, etc. I would certainly recommend this to anyone wanting to visit the museum. I cannot imagine trying to take on this attraction without a guide.

Our private tour was with Mark. Clearly he has a passion for art and the MET. We learned so much! Details about the building, artists, collections, etc. It was our first visit and I'm amazed at the amount of ground we covered in nearly 3 hours. Time flew. We had 4 people on our tour: myself, husband and 2 teenage kids. If we had more people than that it might have been a challenge to hear and see everything.
