Admission ticket sales help educate visiting students, provide world-class care to animal ambassadors, rehabilitate rescued sea turtles, and advance scientific research to save the Florida coral reef tract. As a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit organization, the Aquarium is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums for maintaining high standards in animal welfare, veterinary care, conservation and education among other requirements.

The Florida Aquarium is located in the heart of Downtown Tampa in the Channel District. There are several parking options within walking distance to the Aquarium. Please visit FLaquarium.org to review additional parking options.

The Florida Aquarium in Tampa is an amazing place to stop by at. We loved the hands on exhibits with the jelly fish. The most touching one to us was the Sea Turtle as he was so friendly. There was so much to see here that we spent a couple of hours here enjoying all the sea creatures. Only minus is the price of admission - too steep.

Good set up of the different parts and the splash pad was also nice! A little bit overpriced for only 1,5 hour spend. Via tripadvisor it was cheaper than via the original website.

I purchased tickets on line for our group of 6, 4 adults and 2 children (5 and 7). When we arrived we walked right through the entrance without a wait. It was a Friday morning and the aquarium was not very busy so there really wasn't much of a line; however, I think we did save a few dollars by purchasing online. The aquarium is more than it appears. Great exhibits of all the obvious fishes, sharks, etc. Our kids really enjoyed the visit and some hands on experience with jelly fish and stingrays. We ate lunch at the Cafe Ray and it was fine (pizza, chicken strips) and spent some time at the playground/splash pad before leaving. The aquarium is clean, and staff is friendly and knowledgable.
